I had a legit copy of W8.1. I tried both methods:

Forcing windows updater with 'wuauclt.exe /updatenow'
Both methods upgrade to W10, but the product key is the generic one (VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T for W PRO).

Whats going on?
Since i had a legit and purchased copy of W8.1, i expected to have a own unique key for Windows 10.
Is this even possible?
Plus, none of those methods let me activate W10, it says the product key is invalid, but i know some people activated W10 with that key doing the same process.
My original W8 key doesn't work also, because its a W8 key not a W10 one (makes kinda sense).
Some possible related data: I've never used W10 in this machine, not technical previews or anything. I'm not using Insider program, so maybe that key doesn't work because of that?
