| This works on Windows 95 original, OSR1 and OSR2.x.
THIS WAS FIXED IN WINDOWS 98, THUS IT DOES NOT WORK ON WIN98/98SE/ME !!!
1) Copy all Windows installation files (CD:Win95 for those who don't know) to a formatted drive.
2) Enter the command:
echo ProductType=1 >> msbatch.inf
3) TO START WINDOWS 95 SETUP:
setup msbatch.inf /is
Setup should start and not ask you for a serial number.

-or you copy all files in a directory (ex. C:win95),
-then you take the 'setuppp.inf' from precopy1.cab and
-take in the C:win95 dir,
-then you change in 'setuppp.inf' the 'ProductType=9' to 'ProductType=1', the setup ignore now the setuppp.inf in precopy1.cab and take your setuppp.inf from C:win95 directory. works on win95a/b,
-on win95c you can change the setuppp.inf that is already in the main-directory.

But all my machines are now too fast to run 95, even in emulation..

| For 95 and 95a, the serial only has to be one that divides by seven, this is an old trick from back in the 95 days, can be eg:00000000007, or 00000000014, etc etc,
